As Good As Dead (AGGGTM #3)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
'As Good As Dead', written by Holly Jackson and published in 2021, is a YA mystery thriller that will haunt you for the rest of your life... but not in the way you think. Once again, this book follows Pippa 'Pip' Fitz-Amobi and Ravi Singh but with Pip still haunted from her last mystery and her leaving for Cambridge coming up, now is not the time for a murder or missing person. Lucky for Pip, that doesn't happen but instead she faces a stalker who knows more about her than they probably should. What will Pip do now that the mystery is about her?
Be warned, you will need at least a year to recover from this book. Holly Jackson really dove straight into the dark side of mystery for this book, every turn is either gut wrenching or tear jerking. Her use of 'flipping the script' and making the story focus on Pip as the victim instead of just the investigator (as she's been in previous books) makes the books feel completely new while still showcasing the same characters and dynamics we love. Pip and Ravi's relationship is also developing but Holly Jackson always keeps the familiar banter. She writes with such a style of descriptive words (simple descriptive sentences, not overcomplicated) to feel like its really happening, especially between Pip and Ravi. The book is written to make you believe your prepared for the ending, but trust me you're not. I 100% recommend this book to those who have read the others in the series, you'll feel like your own detective while you try to solve the clues before Pip and Ravi... but will you get it right?
(I didn't)

This was my fav of the 3 and I defiantly recommend it (after the other 2 of course).
